The Vice President of Brazil, Geraldo Alckmin, hosts Green Energy Park in Brasilia
In his capacity as Minister of Development, Industry, Commerce and Services, Geraldo Alckmin takes an active role in shaping the energy transition for Brazil. Representing one of the biggest hydrogen projects in the world, Green Energy Park provided its second milestone report to the Vice President, outlining its progress on advancing with strategic partners, financial institutions, and its green molecules production facilities in Piaui and other locations in Brazil.
On the commercial side, the discussion touched upon opportunities to transform global industries like steel and high-performance industrial materials through cost competitive green hydrogen at the gigawatts scale. Brazil is in a prime position to leverage its natural endowments in critical raw materials and renewable energy for value added, sustainable products for export to the world markets.
